Connecting Minority Communities Pilot Program

Southern University at New Orleans

Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO)'s SUNOconnects project proposes to expand broadband internet access, connectivity, and digital inclusion for the SUNO campus and designated schools located in the 9th and 15th Wards of New Orleans. The project aims to purchase broadband internet access services and equipment, to hire and train information technology personnel, and to facilitate educational instruction and learning, including using remote instruction.
